Thirty-five days ahead of the World Youth Day Panama 2019, the Local Organizing Committee presented the kit that all registered pilgrims will receive.

The kit consists of a backpack containing a cap, a T-shirt, a multi-purpose scarf, a bracelet, a prayer book, a pilgrim's guide, a map, a rosary and a biodegradable bag for pilgrims to deposit their waste.

One of the pillars of WYD Panama 2019 is the care of the Common House. Therefore, the kit includes a reusable water bottle so that young people can use it to drink water, reducing the consumption of plastic bottles.

The environmental responsibility element is present throughout the entirety of the WYD, from its organization to the management of waste during the central events, following the Encyclical Laudato Sí.
